The piece

The band is tungsten carbide, one of the hardest materials used in men's rings. That hardness is why the polished silver-tone surface keeps its shine through daily wear instead of picking up a haze of fine scratches. The flat profile and clean beveled edges give it a squared, modern shape rather than a domed traditional one.

Across the face sit two inlaid bands. One is natural antler, warm and light, with the soft grain and tone shifts you only get from a natural material. The other is a dark inlay with a fine crosshatched meteorite pattern. A narrow polished line separates them, and the inside of the band is left smooth and polished against the skin.

How to wear it

Wear it on the ring or middle finger of your dominant hand and let it stand alone; the inlays are busy enough that a second ring competes. It works with a rolled flannel sleeve and a leather strap watch, and it is quiet enough under a suit cuff for a wedding or an event. How do I care for the antler inlay?

Wipe the ring with a soft dry cloth after wear and keep it away from long soaking, harsh cleaners and chlorine. Natural inlays last longest when they stay dry.

Can it be resized later?

No. Tungsten carbide cannot be cut or stretched, so choose your size carefully and size up if you are in between.
