The piece
The pendant and box-link chain are titanium steel, polished to a smooth, bright surface. The tag measures 1.4 in high by 0.8 in wide (35 x 21 mm) and 4.5 mm thick, with a single-pendant weight of 11 g, so it has presence without pulling at the neck.
The face is cut away so the gear wheels sit exposed against the open back, with rounded rivet heads at the corners and a curved plate across the top. In the gold option the gears carry a gold-tone finish against the steel frame, giving a two-tone look; the silver option keeps everything in one polished tone.
How to wear it
Wear it outside a plain white or black tee for the clearest view of the gear work, or under an open collar with one or two buttons undone. The silver tone pairs easily with a steel watch and a steel ring; the gold-tone version works with warm-toned watches and brown leather.
