The piece
The cord is braided waxed rope in black, 3mm wide, with a smooth surface and a soft, flexible drape. It has enough body to hold its shape around the neck without feeling stiff, and it stays quiet against the skin.
The ends are finished into a compact cylindrical clasp in polished stainless steel, a material known to resist rust and corrosion through daily wear. The contrast is simple: matte black cord, one bright point of steel at the nape.
How to wear it
With a white tee it reads as a clean black line at the collarbone; under an open shirt it stays mostly hidden, which is the point. Lengths are 16", 18", 20", 22" and 26". If you plan to add a pendant, going one length longer keeps it visible below an open collar.
