The piece
The pendant and chain are made from titanium steel, a stainless steel alloy that holds up to sweat, weather and daily wear without rusting. The 1.2 inch (3 cm) disc has real presence in the hand, with a rope-style border framing a textured dial and a raised star that rises above the surface.
A wide polished bail links the pendant to a 24 inch (60 cm) round box chain, so the disc hangs straight instead of twisting. Darkened recesses give the compass depth, while the star, border and bail stay bright. The second option adds a gold-tone finish on the star for contrast against the silver-tone disc.
How to wear it
