The piece
The chain is stainless steel in a classic Cuban link pattern, with an electroplated two-tone finish: one half gold-tone, the other half silver-tone. The links run the same width and weave all the way around, so the only change is the color.
It closes with a lobster clasp and an extender chain, so you can shorten or lengthen the fit slightly. A small heart-shaped tag hangs from the end of the extender. Stainless steel holds up to daily wear and resists rust and corrosion.
How to wear it
Wear it on a plain white or black tee and let the two tones do the work. Under an open collar shirt it shows just enough at the neckline, and it works with a jacket for dinner or an evening out. Keep other jewelry simple; the split finish means it pairs with both a steel watch and gold rings.
