The piece
The band is tungsten carbide, one of the hardest materials used in jewelry, which is why it holds a polish and resists scratching far better than softer metals. The outside is finished in black, the inside in a bright blue that flashes when you move your hand.
The center inlay carries a blue dragon knotwork pattern over a mottered silver-tone ground, bordered by two polished chamfered edges that bevel the band down to the finger. At 8mm wide, it has real presence without looking oversized.
How to wear it
Wear it on the ring or middle finger with a black or steel watch and keep the rest of the hand bare, so the inlay stays the focal point. It sits well with dark denim, a white tee and a leather jacket, and it works just as easily under a shirt cuff at the office.
