The piece
The chain is made from 304 stainless steel, a material that holds its shape and resists rust and corrosion through daily wear. The Figaro pattern alternates three shorter links with one elongated flat link, so the chain reads as more than a simple row of loops.
Links are polished to a bright shine. The gold option is electroplated for a warm gold-tone color; the steel option keeps the natural cool gray of stainless steel. Flat link faces mean the chain lies close to the skin instead of rolling.
How to wear it
On a plain white or black tee, the Figaro pattern does all the work. Under an open collar with a shirt or a light jacket, only part of it shows, which is the point. Match the gold-tone version to a gold watch or a gold ring, and the steel version to a steel watch case or bracelet.
