For the man who does his name proud.
Two minutes with a strip of paper or a soft tape and you will order the right size first time.
Shown in centimetres and UK sizesMeasure at home in 2 minutes
You need a strip of paper (or a string or shoelace), a pen and a ruler.
With a ring that fits (most accurate)
- Lay a ring you wear on that finger on the ruler and measure the inside diameter, edge to edge, in millimetres.
- Find that diameter in the table below.
With a strip of paper
- Wrap the strip around the base of your finger: it must still slide over the knuckle.
- Mark where it overlaps, lay it flat and measure it in millimetres: that is the circumference. Find it in the table below.
Measure at the end of the day, when fingers are slightly larger.
No ruler? A bank card is 8.6 cm long: count how many fit along your strip.

Half sizes sit halfway between two rows (about 0.4 mm of diameter).
Good to know: measure at the end of the day, when fingers are slightly larger. Wide bands (8 mm and more) feel tighter: if you are between two sizes, take the larger one.
Six sides, a dark face, and steel that stays on all day.
Atlas took the weight without a word. A good signet does something similar: it says enough without making noise. This one has a wide hexagonal head in 316L stainless steel, with a flat black inlay framed by a polished bezel. The shoulders taper down to a smooth, rounded band that sits flat on the finger. Choose silver-tone steel or a gold-tone finish, in US sizes 7 to 13.

Details & specs
The band is 316L stainless steel, a metal that resists rust and corrosion and holds a clean polish through everyday use. The shoulders taper from a solid hexagonal head down to a smooth, rounded inner band that sits flat against the finger.
The top is set with a flat black inlay, framed by a bright polished bezel that traces the six-sided outline. Choose the silver-tone steel for a cooler, sharper contrast, or the gold-tone finish for a warmer frame around the black.
How to wear it
Wear it on the ring or index finger with a white tee and dark denim, and let it be the only ring on that hand. Under an open collar or with a suit it reads formal enough for a wedding or a dinner, especially in the gold-tone finish. If you wear a watch, match the tone: silver-tone with steel, gold-tone with a gold or brown-strap watch.
Choosing your size
Sizes run from 7 to 13 in US sizing, in both gold-tone and silver-tone. If you already know your ring size, order it as is; if you are between sizes, go up, because a wide signet band sits closer on the finger than a thin one. For a gift, measure a ring he already wears on the same finger, or choose size 10, the most common men's size.
Why this piece
Signet presence, clean lines
The flat hexagon face gives the ring real presence without patterns or stones. It stays simple enough to wear every day.
Steel that handles real life
316L stainless steel resists rust and corrosion and keeps its polish through work, gym bags and travel.
Black against gold or silver
The dark inlay contrasts cleanly with either finish, so it pairs easily with a watch or other pieces you already own.

Questions
Will it hold up to daily wear?
Yes. 316L stainless steel is a hard, corrosion-resistant metal, so the band handles daily wear well; as with any ring, remove it for heavy lifting or rough work to protect the polished surfaces.
How do I care for it?
Wipe it with a soft cloth, and clean it with mild soap and water when needed, then dry it fully. Avoid harsh chemicals and abrasive cleaners on the black inlay.
Is this a good gift if I do not know his size?
It comes in sizes 7 to 13, so most men are covered. Borrow a ring he wears on the same finger to compare, or choose size 10 as a safe middle.
Is an inox 316L ring the same as stainless steel?
Yes. Inox is the French word for stainless steel, and 316L is the grade used here: a low-carbon stainless steel with strong resistance to rust and corrosion.
What is the black part on the face?
A flat black inlay set into the six-sided top and framed by a polished bezel that traces its outline. There are no stones and no pattern on it.
Is the inlay gold-tone on the gold-tone version?
No. The inlay stays black on both versions. Only the frame changes: cool silver-tone steel for a sharper contrast, or a warmer gold-tone frame around the black.
Does the wide head make the band uncomfortable?
No. The shoulders taper from the hexagonal head down to a smooth, rounded inner band, so the ring sits flat against the finger.
Will the gold-tone finish rub off?
Not with normal care. The gold-tone is a surface finish over the steel, so keep perfume, chlorine and abrasive polish away from it and take the ring off for rough work.
