Measure at home in 2 minutes
You need a strip of paper (or a string or shoelace), a pen and a ruler.
- Take a string or a shoelace and mark on it the length you are considering, for example 56 cm.
- Hold the two marks together at the back of your neck, wearing the kind of top you usually wear.
- Look in a mirror: the lowest point of the string is where the chain will sit.
- Too high or too low? Try 5 cm more or less: that is one size up or down.
Already own a chain you like? Lay it flat, clasp closed, and measure it end to end. A broad neck or chest makes every length sit a little higher.
No ruler? A bank card is 8.6 cm long: count how many fit along your strip.

Chain width
Flat bar links that look familiar, until people look twice.
Atlas stood like a pillar: straight, steady, holding the line. This chain has the same geometry. Each link is a flat, tapered bar joined by a small loop, so the chain drapes evenly and the polish flickers as you move instead of shouting. Made from titanium steel in a polished steel color, with a lobster clasp, in 2mm, 3mm or 4mm and seven lengths from 18 to 31 in.
- Shower, pool, gym: no need to take it off
- 2mm, 3mm or 4mm wide
- Seven lengths, from 18 to 31 in
Details & specs
Made from titanium steel, a stainless steel alloy known for holding up to daily wear and resisting rust and corrosion, so water and sweat do not trouble it. Each link is a flat, tapered bar joined to the next by a small loop, which lets the chain drape evenly and sit close to the body rather than bunching.
The finish is a polished steel color that reads bright but stays neutral against skin and fabric. It closes with a lobster clasp. Choose 2mm, 3mm or 4mm depending on how visible you want it. The bar links give a geometric rhythm and a different reflection than a standard rope or curb chain.
How to wear it
With a white tee it gives a plain outfit a defined line at the neck. Under an open-collar shirt, a 20 or 22 in length sits just below the collarbone and shows one or two bars. Pair it with a steel watch for an easy match, or layer it with a longer chain at the weekend for a little more.
Choosing your size
Lengths are 18 in (45cm), 20 in (50cm), 22 in (55cm), 24 in (60cm), 26 in (65cm), 28 in (70cm) and 31 in (80cm). For most men 20 in sits just below the collarbone, 22 in falls a little lower and works over a tee, and 24 in and up rest on the chest or suit layering; 18 in is close and high. For width, 2mm is subtle, 3mm balanced, 4mm a clear statement.
Why this piece
A link you do not see everywhere
Flat tapered bars give the chain a geometric rhythm that a rope or curb chain does not have.
Titanium steel, every day
It resists rust and does not turn your skin green, so it suits daily use rather than occasional wear.

Questions
Can the titanium steel bar link chain go in the pool?
Yes. Titanium steel resists rust and corrosion, so pool, sea and shower water do not trouble the flat bars. A wipe with a soft cloth keeps the polish bright.
Can a woman wear it too?
Yes. The chain is unisex; on a smaller frame, the 18 or 20 in lengths in 2mm look the most natural.
Which width of the bar link chain shows the geometric shape most clearly?
3mm is the balanced choice, and 4mm makes the bars a clear statement. The 2mm keeps the geometric rhythm subtle.
How does a bar link chain look compared with a curb chain?
A curb chain shows a continuous line of interlocking links. This chain alternates flat tapered bars and small loops, so it reads as a series of short, clean lines.
How much of the geometric bar chain shows under an open collar?
One or two bars, at 20 or 22 in, where the chain sits just below the collarbone. With a white tee the whole line shows and gives a plain outfit a defined neckline.
Who is the 31 in length for?
31 in (80cm) hangs lowest, well below the chest. It is meant for layering under a shorter chain or for a long, relaxed drop over a sweater.
Are there other colors?
No. It comes in polished steel only.
How do I layer it?
Wear it at 20 in and add a second chain at least 5 cm (2 in) longer, at 24 or 26 in, so the bars stay visible.
