You need a strip of paper (or a string or shoelace), a pen and a ruler.
With a ring that fits (most accurate)
- Lay a ring you wear on that finger on the ruler and measure the inside diameter, edge to edge, in millimetres.
- Find that diameter in the table below.
With a strip of paper
- Wrap the strip around the base of your finger: it must still slide over the knuckle.
- Mark where it overlaps, lay it flat and measure it in millimetres: that is the circumference. Find it in the table below.
Measure at the end of the day, when fingers are slightly larger.
No ruler? A bank card is 8.6 cm (3.4") long: count how many fit along your strip.

Half sizes sit halfway between two rows (about 0.4 mm of diameter).
Good to know: measure at the end of the day, when fingers are slightly larger. Wide bands (8 mm and more) feel tighter: if you are between two sizes, take the larger one.
One fine groove, two textures, nothing else to explain.
Atlas held the line at the edge of the world. This band holds a line of its own: one fine groove running the full circle, between a brushed stainless steel center and polished bevels. It catches the light only when you move your hand, which is how a man's ring should behave. Wear it on the ring finger or the index, in silver, gold-tone or black, from US 6 to 13.
- Steel that shrugs off sweat and water
- Matte center, polished edges, one groove
- US sizes 6 to 13, three colors
Details & specs
The band is stainless steel, a metal that stands up to daily wear and resists rust and corrosion. The wide center panel carries a brushed, matte texture, while the beveled edges are left polished, so the ring has a defined outline instead of a flat one. The inside is smooth and rounded against the finger, which keeps it comfortable through a full day.
A single recessed line runs around the center, separating the two textures and giving the surface some depth. It is the only detail on the ring, and it is enough. Silver is the natural steel color; gold-tone and black are plated finishes, and we say it plainly. All three share the same shape and the same quiet presence.
How to wear it
With a white tee and a watch, it is the only detail you need. Under a shirt cuff with a suit it stays understated, and the black finish pairs well with a dark strap or a dark metal bracelet. Gold-tone works best if your other pieces are also warm-toned; silver goes with everything, including most steel watches.
Choosing your size
Sizes run from US 6 to 13 in whole sizes, and most men land between 9 and 11 on the ring finger. This is a wide band, and wide bands feel tighter than thin ones, so if you are between sizes, take the larger one. Measure late in the day, when fingers are at their largest, and use a ring you already wear on the same finger as a reference.
Why this piece
Built for everyday
Stainless steel does not rust and does not turn your skin green, so it handles hand washing, the gym bag and daily wear without special treatment.
Two finishes, one band
The brushed center and polished bevels give contrast without any pattern or logo. It looks more considered than a plain band.
For the man who carries everything
A gift for a father, a brother or a partner who wears a watch every day. Most men land between 9 and 11; when in doubt, take the larger size. You have 30 days to return it.

Questions
Can the single groove band stay on through workouts and the sea?
Yes, stainless steel resists rust and corrosion, so workouts, showers and the sea are fine. Dry it so water does not sit in the recessed groove.
Should I size up for the wide single groove band?
Only if you are between sizes: wide bands feel tighter than thin ones, so take the larger. Most men land between 9 and 11 on the ring finger.
Which color should I choose?
Silver matches most watches and other steel pieces. Gold-tone suits a man who already wears warm tones, and black is the low-key choice for dark clothing.
Is the groove a different color?
No. It is a recessed line in the same finish as the band, separating the brushed center from the polished bevels.
Is the inside rounded?
Yes. The inside is smooth and rounded against the finger, which keeps it comfortable through a full day.
Can I get a 9.5?
No. Sizes are whole, US 6 to 13. If you measure 9.5, take 10, since a wide band feels tighter than a thin one.
Is it plain enough for a strict dress code?
Yes. It has no pattern, stone or logo, only the groove and two finishes, so it stays understated under a shirt cuff.
Is stainless steel strong enough for a daily ring?
Yes. It keeps its shape through daily knocks and does not rust; only the surface shows light marks over time, and the brushed center blends them in.
