The chain is made from stainless steel, a metal known for resisting rust and corrosion through daily wear, including the shower, the gym and a day at the beach. The links are twisted into the classic rope pattern, which gives the chain a spiral texture and a natural drape rather than a flat, stiff line around the neck.
The finish is applied by electroplating, in gold-tone or silver-tone, and we say so. Pick your width: 3mm is subtle and close to the skin, 4mm sits between subtle and visible, and 5mm has more presence and catches more light across the room. The twisted links break up the light instead of reflecting it flat.
How to wear it
With a white tee and denim, a 4mm at 22 in sits just below the collarbone and carries the outfit. Under an open collar shirt, go 3mm at 20 in so it stays half hidden. For a layered look, pair a shorter 3mm with a longer 5mm in the same finish, and match the tone to your watch or rings.
Choosing your size
Lengths are 20, 22, 24 and 26 in. A 20 in chain sits at or just below the collarbone on most men, 22 in falls a little lower on the chest, and 24 to 26 in sits mid-chest and reads bolder, especially over a tee. If he has a larger neck or broader chest, size up one length; if you are unsure on width, 4mm is the middle ground.

No. Stainless steel resists rust and corrosion, so the shower, the gym and the beach are fine. After the pool or the sea, rinse it in fresh water so the electroplated gold-tone or silver-tone stays even.
How do I care for the finish?
