Measure at home in 2 minutes
You need a strip of paper (or a string or shoelace), a pen and a ruler.
- Take a string or a shoelace and mark on it the length you are considering, for example 56 cm (22").
- Hold the two marks together at the back of your neck, wearing the kind of top you usually wear.
- Look in a mirror: the lowest point of the string is where the chain will sit.
- Too high or too low? Try 5 cm (2") more or less: that is one size up or down.
Already own a chain you like? Lay it flat, clasp closed, and measure it end to end. A broad neck or chest makes every length sit a little higher.
No ruler? A bank card is 8.6 cm (3.4") long: count how many fit along your strip.

Chain width
A wheat chain from a quiet 3mm to an unmistakable 7.5mm.
Atlas was the one the sky leaned on. You are probably the one your people lean on, and this chain is made to keep pace with you. Four strands of titanium steel links are woven into the classic wheat pattern, giving a rounded profile and a smooth drape. The silver-tone polish runs across every link, in five widths from 3mm to 7.5mm and seven lengths from 18 to 30 in.

Details & specs
The chain is made from titanium steel, a stainless steel alloy that holds a bright polish and resists rust and corrosion through daily wear, so the gym bag, the shower and the sea are not a concern. Four strands of links are woven into the wheat pattern, which gives the chain a rounded profile and a smooth drape rather than a flat, stiff line.
The finish is a clean silver-tone polish across every link, so light travels down the whole chain instead of stopping at one point. The woven links stay flexible with constant wear. Widths run 3mm, 4mm, 5mm, 6mm and 7.5mm: the slimmer ones read understated, while 6mm and 7.5mm are bold enough to be the main piece.
How to wear it
A 3mm or 4mm at 20 in sits just below the collarbone and works under a shirt for the office or a dinner out. Step up to 5mm or wider with a plain tee, a leather jacket or a crewneck sweater when you want the chain to be the statement. Two widths together, 3mm at 20 in and 6mm at 24 in, give an easy layered look.
Choosing your size
Lengths run 18 in (45 cm), 20 in (50 cm), 22 in (55 cm), 24 in (60 cm), 26 in (65 cm), 28 in (70 cm) and 30 in (75 cm). For most men 20 in rests just under the collarbone, 22 in at the top of the chest and 24 in mid-chest, where a pendant would hang. For a broader build, or to show the chain over a tee, go up one length.

Questions
Can the polished titanium steel wheat chain handle the gym bag and the sea?
Yes. Titanium steel resists rust and corrosion, so sweat, pool water and sea water are part of its day. A wipe with a soft dry cloth after wear keeps the silver-tone polish bright.
Can I add a pendant later?
Yes. 20 or 22 in in 4mm or 5mm is a chain he can wear alone now and with a pendant later; 24 in puts the pendant mid-chest.
Which widths read subtle?
3mm and 4mm stay understated, 5mm is the middle ground, and 6mm and 7.5mm make the chain the focus of the outfit.
How do a 3mm and a 6mm wheat chain look worn side by side?
As an easy layered pair: 3mm at 20 in sits just below the collarbone and 6mm at 24 in rests mid-chest. The slim one reads understated, the wide one carries the look.
What is a wheat chain, and how does it differ from a rope chain?
A wheat chain weaves four strands of links into a rounded, braided pattern. A rope chain twists its links into a spiral. The wheat reads smoother and more even, while a rope shows a stronger twist.
Who is the 28 or 30 in length for?
28 in (70 cm) and 30 in (75 cm) hang below the chest. They suit a long pendant, an oversized look or a tall, broad frame. A chain worn on its own usually sits better between 20 and 24 in.
Is titanium steel better than stainless steel?
It is a stainless steel alloy, so it shares the same everyday strengths: it does not rust, holds a bright polish and does not turn your skin green.
Will a wheat chain kink or tangle?
The four woven strands make a dense chain that stays flexible with daily wear. To keep it straight, store it hanging or laid flat rather than balled up, and avoid folding it sharply.
