The piece

The chain is stainless steel, built in the round snake style: tightly fitted segments that form a smooth, flexible tube. Stainless steel is a hard, low-maintenance metal that resists rust and corrosion, which is what makes it a sensible daily chain. The gold-tone and rose gold-tone versions are electroplated; the silver-tone version is polished stainless steel.

Details are kept minimal on purpose. Polished end caps lead into a matching lobster clasp and ring, so the closure stays in the same tone as the chain. Choose 1.2mm for a barely-there line or 1.5mm for a slightly more present one.

How to wear it
