The links twist into a rope pattern, so light runs along the chain as it moves instead of sitting flat on it. At 5mm, it reads clearly next to a watch without taking over the wrist. The bracelet is made from stainless steel, which holds its shape and resists rust and corrosion through daily use. The links are twisted into a rope pattern, giving the chain a spiral surface that catches light from several angles at once. At 5mm wide, it has presence but still slides under a shirt cuff.
A lobster clasp with polished end caps closes it. The silver version is natural polished steel; the gold-tone is a plated finish over the same steel, and we say so. Both carry the same polish along the full length, so the twist reads cleanly all the way around the wrist, from the clasp to the far side.
How to wear it
Wear it alone on a bare wrist with a white tee and denim, or on the watch wrist so the rope texture sits just below the case. It also works next to a leather or beaded bracelet for a layered look. Dressed up, it stays discreet under a shirt cuff at dinner or a wedding, and shows only when you reach out.
Choosing your size
Two lengths: 7 in (18cm) and 8 in (20cm). Wrap a tape measure around the wrist bone and add about half an inch for a close fit, or about an inch if you like the chain to slide. A wrist around 6.5 to 7 in usually suits the 7 in; larger wrists or a looser drape call for the 8 in.

Yes, for contact sports or heavy lifting, to spare the twisted links from knocks. Water, sweat and sea air are fine, since the stainless steel does not rust.
Does the gold-tone wear off?
