A rope chain is made of small links twisted together in a spiral, so it looks like a braided cord made of metal. The twist catches light from every side, which gives even a 3mm bracelet a noticeable shine. Most average wrists take 8 in; choose 9 in for a broad wrist, a looser drape or the wider 6mm, which takes up more room inside the bracelet. If it is for stacking with a watch, a narrower width is the easier choice.
