Measure at home in 2 minutes
You need a strip of paper (or a string or shoelace), a pen and a ruler.
- Take a string or a shoelace and mark on it the length you are considering, for example 56 cm.
- Hold the two marks together at the back of your neck, wearing the kind of top you usually wear.
- Look in a mirror: the lowest point of the string is where the chain will sit.
- Too high or too low? Try 5 cm more or less: that is one size up or down.
Already own a chain you like? Lay it flat, clasp closed, and measure it end to end. A broad neck or chest makes every length sit a little higher.
No ruler? A bank card is 8.6 cm long: count how many fit along your strip.

Chain width
Real weight around the neck, locked by a clasp you barely see.
Atlas did not get a day off. Neither do you, and neither does this chain. It is a stainless steel Cuban link with real weight: polished links that interlock closely and follow the collarbone in one smooth line. The box clasp clicks in flush with the links, so the chain never looks interrupted. Choose 8, 10 or 12mm, silver or gold tone, in eight lengths from 16 to 30 inches.
- Sweat, rain, showers: no rust
- Box clasp sits flush with the links
- Three widths, eight lengths
Details & specs
The chain is stainless steel, a metal that holds up to sweat, showers and daily handling without rusting. The links are polished to a mirror finish and interlock closely, so the chain drapes in one continuous line instead of twisting. The thick links give it real heft and keep it where you put it.
The closure is a box clasp with a push release: slide the tab in until it clicks, press it to open. It reads as part of the chain rather than a break. The finish is electroplated, stated plainly, in polished silver tone or warm gold tone, and the widths are 8mm, 10mm and 12mm.
How to wear it
At 20" or 22" it lands near the collarbone, good with a crew-neck tee, a hoodie or an open shirt with a button or two undone. Keep it alone for a clean look, or match the metal to a watch and a bracelet on the same side. The 8mm suits daily wear and the office; the 12mm is for a night out.
Choosing your size
Lengths run from 16" (40cm) to 30" (75cm). For most men, 20" (50cm) sits just below the collarbone and 22" (55cm) rests at the top of the chest; 18" (45cm) sits close to the neck, and 24" (60cm) and longer drapes over a shirt. Width: 8mm is a steady everyday presence, 10mm reads bolder, 12mm makes the chain the main piece. Broad neck? Go one length up.

Questions
Can the heavy Cuban with box clasp go into the sea?
Yes. Stainless steel does not rust, so sweat, showers and the sea are fine. A quick wipe keeps the mirror-polished links bright.
Will the clasp hold with a chain this heavy?
Yes. The box clasp locks with a push tab and sits flush with the links, so it stays closed through daily movement. Press the tab to release it.
Which width for a first heavy chain?
Start with 8mm. It has real presence yet still works with a shirt; move to 10mm or 12mm if he already wears bold pieces.
How do I open the box clasp?
Press the push tab to release it. To close, slide the tab in until it clicks.
Can I wear the 8mm to work?
Yes. The 8mm suits daily wear and the office; the 12mm is for a night out.
Which heavy Cuban length and width should I give if I am unsure?
22" in 8mm or 10mm fits most men and rests at the top of the chest. For a broad neck, go one length up.
Where does a 30 inch chain sit?
Low. From 24 in (60cm) and longer, the chain drapes over a shirt rather than sitting at the collarbone.
Should it match my bracelet?
Match the metal to your watch and bracelet on the same side for one consistent look.
