Men's Brushed Matte Tungsten Carbide Ring
For the man who never gives up on his people.
Two minutes with a strip of paper or a soft tape and you will order the right size first time.
Shown in centimetres and UK sizesMeasure at home in 2 minutes
You need a strip of paper (or a string or shoelace), a pen and a ruler.
With a ring that fits (most accurate)
- Lay a ring you wear on that finger on the ruler and measure the inside diameter, edge to edge, in millimetres.
- Find that diameter in the table below.
With a strip of paper
- Wrap the strip around the base of your finger: it must still slide over the knuckle.
- Mark where it overlaps, lay it flat and measure it in millimetres: that is the circumference. Find it in the table below.
Measure at the end of the day, when fingers are slightly larger.
No ruler? A bank card is 8.6 cm long: count how many fit along your strip.

Half sizes sit halfway between two rows (about 0.4 mm of diameter).
Good to know: measure at the end of the day, when fingers are slightly larger. Wide bands (8 mm and more) feel tighter: if you are between two sizes, take the larger one. Tungsten carbide cannot be resized, so it is worth measuring twice.
A wide matte dome that softens the light instead of flashing it.
Atlas did not drop the sky when it got heavy. Some days ask the same of you, and this ring is built to keep up. It is a wide, domed tungsten carbide band with a brushed matte surface that softens light instead of flashing it. It sits flat and solid on the finger, with a smooth polished inside that slides on without catching. Black reads sharp and modern; silver reads classic and easy.
- Gym, shower, workday: leave it on
- Brushed matte dome, low glare
- Black or silver, US sizes 8 to 12
Details & specs
The band is tungsten carbide, one of the hardest materials used in men's rings, which is why it holds its shape and surface through daily wear. The outer face is brushed to a matte texture with a gently domed profile, so the band curves rather than sitting square on the finger. Inside, the surface is polished smooth and marked TUNGSTEN CARBIDE.
The silver version keeps the natural gray of the metal. The black version carries the same brushed texture in a deep, low-shine tone; it is a plated finish, and we say so. No stones and no engraving on the outside, nothing to snag on a shirt cuff. The brushed surface also hides small marks better than a mirror polish would.
How to wear it
Wear it alone on the ring finger as a wedding or commitment band, or on the index finger as a plain statement piece. The silver finish sits naturally next to a steel watch; the black works with darker leather straps and a black watch. It holds up to a full workday, a gym session and a dinner without looking out of place at any of them.
Choosing your size
Offered in US sizes 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12. This is a wide band, so if you are between sizes or already wear a wide ring, take the larger size: broad rings feel tighter than thin ones on the same finger. Tungsten carbide cannot be resized, so measure at the end of the day, when fingers are at their largest, and check that the ring passes over the knuckle without force.
Why this piece
Hard to mark
Tungsten carbide is extremely hard and does not rust, and the brushed matte surface hides small marks better than a mirror finish.
Presence without noise
The wide domed shape gives real weight on the hand, while the matte finish keeps the shine down. It reads confident rather than loud.

Questions
Can the brushed matte tungsten dome go from the gym to the beach?
Yes. Tungsten carbide does not rust. Rinse off salt and sand and dry it with a soft cloth to keep the matte texture even.
Will the brushed finish wear off?
The brushed texture is on the tungsten carbide itself, which is highly scratch-resistant, so it holds its look through normal wear. On the black version the color is plated, so keep abrasive surfaces away from it.
Should I size up for the wide domed matte band?
Yes, if you are between sizes or already wear a wide ring, since broad bands feel tighter. Tungsten carbide cannot be resized, so measure at the end of the day.
Is the domed matte tungsten ring a good wedding band?
Yes. Worn alone on the ring finger it works as a wedding or commitment band, and it holds up through a workday, a gym session and a dinner.
How domed is it?
Gently. The outer face curves across its width rather than sitting square, so the wide band rolls over the finger without hard edges.
Will it catch on shirt cuffs?
No. There are no stones and no engraving on the outside, and the domed profile has no hard corners to snag.
Silver or black: which is more versatile?
Silver. Its natural gray sits next to a steel watch and most other metals, while black reads sharper and pairs with darker leather straps and a black watch.
Will the black version show scratches?
Less than a polished black ring would: the brushed texture blends light marks in, on a very hard tungsten carbide base. The plating can still wear at high-contact points over time.
