- Lay a ring you wear on that finger on the ruler and measure the inside diameter, edge to edge, in millimetres.
- Find that diameter in the table below.

- Wrap the strip around the base of your finger: it must still slide over the knuckle.
- Mark where it overlaps, lay it flat and measure it in millimetres: that is the circumference. Find it in the table below.

The ring is made from titanium steel, polished and then given a brushed matte surface. Steel of this type resists rust and corrosion, which is why it holds up to daily wear, hand washing and cold weather without drama. The band is wide and flat, the inside is smooth and the edges are rounded off, so it sits flush and stays comfortable.
Runic characters run around the outside of the band in black, set into the brushed surface so they stay readable from a distance. They are engraved, not printed. Here they are a design: old letter shapes with a strong graphic line. Silver is the natural steel color; black and gold-tone are plated finishes, and we say so.
How to wear it
Wear it alone on the index or ring finger with a white tee and denim for a clean, deliberate look. The black version sits well with a leather-strap watch and darker clothing; the gold-tone version pairs with a gold-tone chain or bracelet.
