Measure at home in 2 minutes
You need a strip of paper (or a string or shoelace), a pen and a ruler.
- Take a string or a shoelace and mark on it the length you are considering, for example 56 cm.
- Hold the two marks together at the back of your neck, wearing the kind of top you usually wear.
- Look in a mirror: the lowest point of the string is where the chain will sit.
- Too high or too low? Try 5 cm more or less: that is one size up or down.
Already own a chain you like? Lay it flat, clasp closed, and measure it end to end. A broad neck or chest makes every length sit a little higher.
No ruler? A bank card is 8.6 cm long: count how many fit along your strip.

Chain width
Braided gold-tone links, from a slim 3mm to a bold 8mm.
Atlas stood between the sky and the earth so neither would fall. Something has to hold the middle, and in an outfit this chain does. Its wheat links are tight, round and braided, so it moves like a rope and catches light along its whole length. Stainless steel with an electroplated gold-tone finish, in five widths from 3mm to 8mm and five lengths from 18 to 30 in.

Details & specs
The chain is made from stainless steel, a metal that holds its shape and resists rust and corrosion through daily wear, including the shower and the gym. The links are woven in the wheat pattern: four strands twisted into a dense, flexible rope that lies flat against the neck instead of twisting. The braid gives depth close to the skin.
The gold-tone color is applied by electroplating for an even finish from clasp to clasp; it is a plating, and we say so. A lobster clasp closes the chain and stays put through the day. Widths run 3mm, 5mm, 6mm, 7mm and 8mm, so the same braid can be a slim accent or the boldest thing you wear.
How to wear it
On its own over a plain white or black tee, the chain carries the outfit. Under an open collar with a shirt or a knit, let a few links show for a warmer, dressed look. Stack two widths at different lengths, or match it to a gold-tone watch or ring for a finished set that looks planned rather than piled on.
Choosing your size
Lengths are 18, 20, 22, 24 and 30 in (46, 51, 56, 61 and 76 cm). 18 in sits high at the base of the neck, 20 in rests just below the collarbone and suits most men, 22 to 24 in drops onto the chest and works with a pendant, and 30 in hangs low for layering. For width, 3mm is subtle, 5mm to 6mm the everyday middle, 7mm to 8mm a clear statement.
Why this piece
Woven, not plain
The braided wheat pattern is denser and more detailed than a standard curb or box chain, and it catches light from every angle.
Steel at the core
Stainless steel resists rust and does not turn your skin green, so the chain can be put on and taken off every day without losing its shape.

Questions
Can the gold-tone wheat chain go from the shower to the gym without coming off?
Yes. The stainless steel core resists rust and corrosion, so showers and workouts are fine. After the pool or the sea, rinse the braid and wipe it dry to keep the electroplated gold-tone even.
How do I match the gold-tone wheat chain with a watch or a ring?
Keep them all in gold-tone. Next to a gold-tone watch or ring, the braided chain reads as a finished set that looks planned rather than piled on.
Can I stack two of these?
Yes. Choose two different widths and two lengths at least one step apart, such as 20 and 24 in, so the braids sit clearly apart.
Who is the 30 in length for?
30 in (76 cm) hangs low, below the chest. It is meant for layering under a shorter chain or for a long, relaxed drop over a tee.
How is a wheat chain different from a curb chain?
A curb chain is a single row of flat, interlocking links. A wheat chain weaves four strands into a braid, so it looks denser and catches light from every angle.
Is this wheat chain available in silver-tone?
No. It comes in gold-tone only, an electroplated finish over stainless steel.
Which width and length for a pendant?
Choose 22 or 24 in so the pendant sits on the chest. 3mm suits a small pendant; 5mm or 6mm balances a larger one.
Can I swap the width if it looks too bold?
We do not offer exchanges. Return the unworn chain in its original packaging within 30 days, with return shipping at your cost, and order the width you prefer.
