- Lay a ring you wear on that finger on the ruler and measure the inside diameter, edge to edge, in millimetres.
- Find that diameter in the table below.

- Wrap the strip around the base of your finger: it must still slide over the knuckle.
- Mark where it overlaps, lay it flat and measure it in millimetres: that is the circumference. Find it in the table below.
Measure at the end of the day, when fingers are slightly larger.

The band is made from stainless steel, a metal that resists rust and corrosion and holds a polish through daily use. It has a flat outer surface with softly rounded edges, so it does not dig in when you close your hand. It feels solid on the finger without being bulky.
Cubic zirconia stones are set into recessed openings around the band, sitting level with the surface rather than standing proud of it. The gold-tone and rose gold-tone versions are electroplated finishes; the silver-tone version is polished steel. Store it apart from other pieces so nothing rubs against the plating.
How to wear it
Wear it alone on the ring finger for a clean, considered look, or on the index finger if you want it seen. Match the finish to your watch or chain: silver with steel, gold tone with a gold chain and an open collar.
