The chain is titanium steel, a stainless steel alloy that holds a bright polish and does not rust through daily wear. Each oval link has a flat, rounded face and is joined to the next by a small round link, so the chain keeps an even line on the neck instead of twisting.

The gold-tone color is an electroplated finish; the silver version is the natural steel color. A lobster clasp closes it at the back. There is no pendant: the coffee bean pattern runs the whole length, which keeps the look clean and makes it easy to wear on its own or next to other pieces.
