The piece
The chain is stainless steel, with links twisted into a continuous rope pattern along the full length. Stainless steel is a practical choice for something worn every day: it resists rust and corrosion, and it holds its shape without bending out of line.
The finish is a silver-tone electroplated surface, applied evenly so the twist reads consistently from clasp to clasp. It closes with a lobster clasp, which you can work with one hand and trust to stay shut through a full day.
How to wear it
At 2mm to 2.5mm it sits close and quiet, good under a shirt with just a hint at the collar. At 4mm or 5mm it becomes the piece you build the outfit around: white tee, dark jacket, a watch on the wrist. Two lengths in different widths layer well, with the shorter one sitting near the collarbone and the longer one on the chest.
Choosing your size
Lengths run 16" (40cm) to 30" (75cm).
