The piece
The band is stainless steel with a polished silver-tone surface that reflects light cleanly along its full width. Stainless steel is a hard, corrosion-resistant metal, which is why it holds up to daily wear better than softer jewelry metals.
A single baguette-cut cubic zirconia is inlaid into the band so the top of the stone sits level with the steel. The width stays consistent all the way around, giving the ring a squared, architectural profile rather than a domed one.
