The piece
The chain is made from titanium steel, a stainless steel alloy that holds a polish and resists rust and corrosion. The links are twisted into a continuous rope pattern, so the surface is textured rather than flat and keeps its shape as it moves.
It closes with a lobster clasp on a tubular end cap, and comes in a steel color or a gold-tone plated finish. Widths run 2mm, 2.5mm, 3mm, 4mm and 5mm, in 18" (45 cm), 20" (50 cm) and 24" (60 cm).
How to wear it
With a white tee, a 3mm or 4mm in 20" lands just below the collarbone and gives the neckline a clear line. Under an open collar shirt, a 2mm or 2.5mm in 18" stays half hidden and reads as a detail rather than a statement. Match the finish to your watch and rings: steel with steel, gold-tone with gold-tone, and add a 24" underneath if you want a layered look.
Choosing your size
18" (45 cm) sits high on the neck, close to the collarbone, and works best on slimmer necks or under a shirt collar. 20" (50 cm) is the safe choice for most men and falls just below the collarbone on a tee. 24" (60 cm) drops onto the chest, sits well on broader builds, and is the length to pick for layering or for wearing a pendant.
