A rope chain is made of small links twisted together in a spiral, so it looks like a braided cord made of metal. The twist catches light from every side, which gives even a 3mm bracelet a noticeable shine. Silver is the steel's own color; gold-tone is a plated finish, and we say so. The bracelet closes with a lobster clasp.
