Atlas held the world steady while everything around him moved. This rope chain does the opposite: it moves with you. The twisted strands turn as you turn, so light runs along the neck instead of sitting still. Pick 2mm for a quiet line under a collar, or 5mm to read clearly against a plain tee. The chain is stainless steel, a metal that holds a polish and does not rust. The links are twisted into a continuous rope pattern, so the surface is textured rather than flat and keeps its shape as it moves.
