The chain is stainless steel, made of tightly set flat links that form one continuous, liquid-looking band. Stainless steel does not rust, so it handles daily wear, sweat and weather without special care. Every link is polished to a bright, reflective surface that gives the chain visual weight at 5mm without any bulk.
Two colors: the clean natural steel, or a warm gold-tone finish made with vacuum plating for color retention. It is a plated finish, stated plainly. The chain closes with a lobster clasp and includes a 2 inch (5 cm) extender, so you can fine-tune exactly where it sits on the neck.
