Atlas held the world steady while everything else moved. A plain band does the same on a busy hand. This one is 6mm of stainless steel with a beveled edge on each side that draws a thin line of light when you move. It is polished all the way around, inside included, so it feels smooth from the first day. Silver-tone, gold-tone or black, in US sizes 5 to 13.

Will water or the gym mark the polished bevels on the 6mm band?

Water will not hurt it, since stainless steel does not rust. Fine surface marks can appear on the polished bevels over time, as on any polished metal.

Is 6mm too wide for a daily ring?

No. 6mm is a standard men's band width: noticeable on the hand, but flat and easy to wear all day. If you prefer a looser feel, size up so it moves freely over the knuckle.
