The cuff is titanium steel, a stainless steel alloy chosen for its strength and because it does not rust. The band is a run of flat, squared segments, each joined to the next and following the curve of the wrist, so it holds its shape like a cuff rather than draping like a chain.

Inset line detailing runs along each segment and breaks up the surface. The open ends finish in small rounded caps, so nothing sharp touches the skin.
