The piece
The body is machined from a block of stainless steel, polished to a mirror shine. A recessed channel is created and filled with deep blue enamel, forming a crisp chevron pattern. The back uses a simple, effective tension mechanism to hold fabric securely.
At 50mm long, this clip is scaled for standard-width ties. The smooth, cool surface of the enamel inlay contrasts with the temperature of the surrounding steel. It holds the tie flat against the shirt, creating a clean vertical line.
