You need a strip of paper (or a string or shoelace), a pen and a ruler.
- Wrap the strip around your wrist, just above the wrist bone, snug but not tight.
- Mark with the pen where the end overlaps.
- Lay it flat and measure from the end to the mark: that is your wrist size.
- Find your wrist in the table below and read the bracelet length, close fit or looser.
Already have a bracelet that fits well? Lay it flat, clasp closed, measure it end to end and order that length.
No ruler? A bank card is 3.4" long: count how many fit along your strip.
| Your wrist | Close fit | Loose fit |
|---|---|---|
| 6" | 6.5" | 7" |
| 6.5" | 7" | 7.5" |
| 7" | 7.5" | 8" |

| 8" | 8.5" | 9" |

Between two lengths? Take the longer one for a chain bracelet, the shorter one for a cuff or a beaded style.
Fine, faceted links that adjust to any wrist.
Atlas did his work without asking for thanks. A slim bracelet can be just as quiet. This stainless steel Cuban link has six-sided, diamond-cut faces that catch the light even at 3mm. Pick 3, 5 or 7mm, in silver, gold-tone or black. An 18cm chain with a 5cm extender and a lobster clasp lets it adjust from about 7 to 9 in, so fit is never the question.
- Shower and sweat do not make it rust
- Diamond-cut faces in 3, 5 or 7mm
- Adjustable: about 7 to 9 in
Details & specs
Made from stainless steel in a Cuban link pattern, with each link ground on six sides. Those flat diamond-cut faces reflect light in small flashes, which gives even the 3mm width real presence on the wrist. The links lie flat and stay supple, so the bracelet moves with the hand instead of sitting stiff.
Silver is the natural steel color. Gold-tone and black are surface finishes on the steel, and we say so. The bracelet is an 18cm chain with a 5cm extender chain and a lobster clasp: hook it on the link that fits. Stainless steel does not rust, so it can stay on through the shower, the gym and the beach.
How to wear it
The 3mm is thin enough to stack: wear it next to a watch, or two at once in different tones. The 5mm is a solid everyday bracelet on its own. The 7mm is the boldest of the three and suits a bare wrist with a tee. Black looks sharp with dark clothes and a black watch; gold-tone and silver can match the metal of your watch case.
Choosing your size
Widths are 3mm, 5mm and 7mm. The length adjusts: the chain is 18cm and the extender adds up to 5cm, about 7 to 9 in in total, so most wrists are covered without guessing. Close it on the inner links for a close fit, on the outer links for a looser drape. If he is used to slim jewelry, start with 3mm or 5mm.
Why this piece
Fit is not a guess
The extender chain covers about 7 to 9 in, so it fits most wrists out of the box.
Steel with a cut
Stainless steel that does not rust, cut into six-sided faces for a sharper shine than a plain round link.

Questions
Do the diamond-cut faces lose their sparkle after showers and swims?
No. Stainless steel does not rust, so water does not dull the six-sided faces. Rinse and dry it now and then to keep the small flashes of light sharp.
Is the black or gold-tone diamond-cut Cuban a finish over steel?
Yes. Gold-tone and black are surface finishes on the stainless steel, made for daily wear; silver is the natural steel. Perfume, lotions and cleaning products are what wear a finish down, so keep them away.
Can two be worn together?
Yes. The 3mm in two tones, silver with gold-tone or silver with black, makes an easy stack. The wider widths are better worn alone.
What does diamond-cut mean?
Each link is ground on six sides into flat faces that reflect light in small flashes. There are no stones: the name describes the cut of the steel.
How do I adjust the diamond-cut Cuban with its 5cm extender?
Hook the lobster clasp on the inner links of the extender for a close fit, or on the outer links for a looser drape. The 18cm chain plus up to 5cm of extender covers about 7 to 9 in.
Is the 3mm visible on the wrist?
Yes. The faceted faces catch the light even at 3mm, and it is thin enough to stack next to a watch.
Is 7mm too bold?
It is the boldest of the three and looks right on a bare wrist with a tee. The 5mm is the solid everyday middle.
Does the black version go with a black watch?
Yes. Black looks sharp with dark clothes and a black watch; silver and gold-tone can match a steel or gold-tone case.
