The piece
The cufflink body is stainless steel, plated with a thick layer of 18K gold for color and durability. The center holds a precisely cut inlay of nacre, also known as mother of pearl. A bullet back closure keeps it secure.
The surface of the shell inlay catches and refracts light with a cool, milky iridescence that shifts as the wrist moves. This effect contrasts with the steady warmth of the gold plated frame.
