The piece
Each hoop is cast in 316L stainless steel before a crosshatch pattern is engraved onto its outer face. The piece is then plated in either blue or gunmetal gray PVD for a consistent color.
The design focuses on tactile detail. Its crosshatched texture diffracts light into fine lines, creating a different visual effect than a polished or matte surface.
