Two minutes with a strip of paper or a soft tape and you will order the right size first time.
Shown in inches and US sizesMeasure at home in 2 minutes
You need a strip of paper (or a string or shoelace), a pen and a ruler.
With a ring that fits (most accurate)
- Lay a ring you wear on that finger on the ruler and measure the inside diameter, edge to edge, in inches.
- Find that diameter in the table below.
With a strip of paper
- Wrap the strip around the base of your finger: it must still slide over the knuckle.
- Mark where it overlaps, lay it flat and measure it in inches: that is the circumference. Find it in the table below.
Measure at the end of the day, when fingers are slightly larger.
No ruler? A bank card is 3.4" long: count how many fit along your strip.
| US | EU | UK | Diameter | Circumf. |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 5 | 49 | J½ | 0.62" | 1.94" |
| 6 | 52 | L½ | 0.65" | 2.04" |
| 7 | 54 | O | 0.68" | 2.14" |
| 8 | 57 | Q | 0.71" | 2.24" |
| 9 | 59 | S | 0.75" | 2.34" |
| 10 | 62 | U | 0.78" | 2.44" |
| 11 | 65 | W | 0.81" | 2.54" |
| 12 | 67 | Y | 0.84" | 2.65" |
| 13 | 70 | Z+1 | 0.87" | 2.74" |
| 14 | 72 | Z+3 | 0.91" | 2.85" |
| 15 | 75 | Z+4 | 0.94" | 2.94" |
| 16 | 77 | Z+6 | 0.97" | 3.04" |
Half sizes sit halfway between two rows (about 0.4 mm of diameter).
Good to know: measure at the end of the day, when fingers are slightly larger. Wide bands (8 mm and more) feel tighter: if you are between two sizes, take the larger one. Tungsten carbide cannot be resized, so it is worth measuring twice.

Dark from across the room, purple when the daylight hits it.
Atlas held the sky steady while the world turned beneath him. This ring brings a little of that sky to your hand. It is a domed tungsten carbide band in a warm rose gold-tone finish, split by a deep purple lapis lazuli inlay and a bright, textured silver-tone stripe. From a distance it reads dark; in daylight the purple opens up. Choose 6mm in US sizes 6 to 13, or 8mm in US 14 and 15.
- Tungsten carbide band that does not rust
- Purple lapis lazuli and silver-tone inlay
- 6mm in US 6 to 13, 8mm in US 14 and 15
Details & specs
The band is tungsten carbide, one of the hardest materials used in men's rings, so the surface keeps its polish through everyday contact with keys, tools and desks. The outside carries a rose gold-tone plated finish, warm rather than bright, on a rounded dome profile that curves smoothly to the edges.
Down the center runs a purple lapis lazuli inlay beside a textured silver-tone stripe, divided by a slim arrow-shaped accent. The interior is smooth and polished in the same rose gold tone, so the ring slides on cleanly and sits comfortably all day. Treat the inlay with normal care and avoid hard knocks against stone or concrete.
How to wear it
Wear it on the ring or index finger with a white tee and a steel or gold-tone watch, and let the purple be the one color on your hand. It works as a wedding band or an everyday statement ring, under a rolled shirt sleeve at the office as well as on a weekend. Keep other rings on that hand plain so the inlay stays the focal point.
Choosing your size
Pick your US size: every half size from 6 to 13 comes in 6mm, and sizes 14 and 15 come in 8mm, the width that suits a larger hand. Wide rings feel tighter, so in 8mm, take the larger size if you are between two. Tungsten carbide cannot be resized, so measure at the end of the day.
Why this piece
Hard-wearing by nature
Tungsten carbide is very hard and scratch-resistant, so it holds its polish far longer than softer metals, and water does not rust it.
A color you rarely see
Purple lapis lazuli against rose gold tone and a textured silver-tone stripe gives the band a look most men's rings do not have.
A gift for the man who carries everything
For a boyfriend, a brother or the friend who always shows up. If you must guess, 10 in 6mm is the safer choice, and you have 30 days to return it.

Questions
Should the purple lapis inlay ring come off for the pool?
Yes. The tungsten carbide band does not rust, but lapis lazuli is a natural stone that does not like soaking. If the inlay gets wet in the shower, pat it dry.
Will the rose gold tone last?
It is a plated finish made for daily wear. Clean it gently with mild soap and water, keep harsh chemicals away, and take it off for heavy lifting or rough manual work.
Should I choose the 6mm or the 8mm purple lapis ring?
The width follows the size: US 6 to 13 come in 6mm, US 14 and 15 in 8mm. In 8mm, take the larger size if you are between two, since tungsten carbide cannot be resized.
What is lapis lazuli?
A natural stone used since antiquity, most familiar in deep blue. On this ring the inlay is described as purple lapis lazuli, set beside a textured silver-tone stripe.
What is the arrow-shaped detail?
A slim arrow-shaped accent that divides the purple lapis from the textured silver-tone stripe down the center of the band.
Does the purple show indoors?
Less so. From a distance and in low light the inlay reads dark; in daylight the purple opens up.
Is the inside rose gold-tone too?
Yes. The interior is smooth and polished in the same rose gold-tone, so the ring slides on cleanly.
Is the stone covered if it falls out?
Yes. The 1-year warranty covers stones that fall out without an impact or accident. Damage from a knock against stone or concrete is not covered.
