Men's Layered Geometric Ring in Steel
For the man who keeps his word.
Two minutes with a strip of paper or a soft tape and you will order the right size first time.
Shown in inches and US sizesMeasure at home in 2 minutes
You need a strip of paper (or a string or shoelace), a pen and a ruler.
With a ring that fits (most accurate)
- Lay a ring you wear on that finger on the ruler and measure the inside diameter, edge to edge, in inches.
- Find that diameter in the table below.
With a strip of paper
- Wrap the strip around the base of your finger: it must still slide over the knuckle.
- Mark where it overlaps, lay it flat and measure it in inches: that is the circumference. Find it in the table below.
Measure at the end of the day, when fingers are slightly larger.
No ruler? A bank card is 3.4" long: count how many fit along your strip.
| US | EU | UK | Diameter | Circumf. |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 5 | 49 | J½ | 0.62" | 1.94" |
| 6 | 52 | L½ | 0.65" | 2.04" |

| 16 | 77 | Z+6 | 0.97" | 3.04" |
Half sizes sit halfway between two rows (about 0.4 mm of diameter).
Good to know: measure at the end of the day, when fingers are slightly larger. Wide bands (8 mm and more) feel tighter: if you are between two sizes, take the larger one.
Two bands meeting in one clean angled split.
Atlas held up the heavens with both arms locked. This ring looks just as built. Two bands meet in a clean angled split, so it reads as one solid piece from a distance and shows its construction up close. The polished stainless steel picks up light along each edge, giving the shape definition without loud shine. It sits flat and even on the finger. Silver or black, in US sizes 7 to 11.
- Rust-free on wet days and gym days
- Layered band with an angled split
- Silver or black, US 7 to 11
Details & specs
The ring is made from stainless steel, a metal that holds its shape and resists rust and corrosion through daily use. The profile is built as a layered band: a central section with an outer segment that steps away from it, leaving a narrow open line around the ring that holds a little shadow.
The surfaces are polished smooth, so the angled split running across the top catches light from more than one direction. The interior is a plain smooth band. Silver is the natural steel; black is a plated finish. There are no stones or inlays to snag on cuffs or gloves, and no moving parts.
How to wear it
Wear it on the index or ring finger of either hand; the design is symmetrical, so it looks right from every angle. Silver sits naturally beside a steel watch and a white tee or an open collar, while black keeps things quieter with dark knitwear and a suit. One ring is enough here, but it also anchors a stack with a plain slim band.
Choosing your size
The ring comes in US sizes 7, 8, 9, 10 and 11. If you know your size, order it; if you are between sizes or buying as a gift, size up, since the band is wide and a wider band feels snugger than a thin one. To check at home, compare with a ring he already wears on the same finger.
Why this piece
Architectural profile
The layered band and angled split give the ring a shape you notice from across a table. It looks designed rather than decorative.
Nothing to come loose
Stainless steel does not rust or turn your skin green, and the smooth surfaces have no stones or parts to lose.

Questions
Can the layered split band handle showers and gym bars?
Showers, training and the beach, yes: stainless steel does not rust. Take it off for heavy lifting so gym bars do not dent the stepped outer segment.
Which layered split band color suits a suit?
Black, a plated finish that keeps things quiet with dark knitwear and a suit. Silver, the natural steel, sits beside a steel watch and a white tee.
Which finger suits it best?
The index or ring finger of either hand. The split looks the same from both sides, so it works wherever you wear it.
Is it two rings joined together?
No. It is one solid piece built as a layered band: a central section with an outer segment that steps away from it, leaving a narrow open line. Nothing moves.
Can the layered split band anchor a ring stack?
Yes. One is enough on its own, but it also anchors a stack with a plain slim band.
Does the split collect dirt?
The narrow open line can hold a little dust or soap. Rinse it in warm water and dry it so the shadow line stays clean.
Is it polished or brushed?
Polished all over, so the angled split catches light from more than one direction.
