The piece
The body of the ring is black tungsten carbide, a material known for its density and scratch resistance. A channel is cut into the center, holding an 18K gold PVD plated steel inlay. A single, round-cut zircon is set flush within the gold channel.
This ring has a surprising heft, a dense weight on the finger that speaks to its material composition. The inner band is polished for comfort, while the beveled edges give the exterior a modern profile. The tungsten surface is brushed for a matte finish.
