Atlas felt the whole sky turn on his shoulders and still did not drop it. A rope chain turns too: its strands are woven in a continuous spiral, so it picks up light from every angle instead of lying flat. Made from stainless steel in silver-tone, gold-tone or black, it comes in five widths from 3mm to 7mm and three lengths, 18, 20 or 24 in, with a lobster clasp.

The chain is made from stainless steel, a material that resists rust and corrosion and holds up to everyday wear, including the shower and the gym. The links are woven in a continuous spiral, which gives the rope chain its rounded, ridged surface and its flexible drape around the neck.
