The magnetic clasp is a smooth rectangular barrel that sits flush with the chain, so the line stays unbroken. Silver-tone is natural steel. Black and gold-tone are plated finishes, carried across the chain and the clasp in the same tone. In silver it picks up light in small flashes; in black it reads almost matte from a distance.
