Yes. Stainless steel resists rust and corrosion and does not turn your skin green. A wipe with a soft dry cloth brings the braid's shine back.

Can I put a pendant on it?

Yes. At 4mm the chain is strong enough to carry a pendant. For a pendant, 22 or 24 in usually works best, so it hangs on the chest rather than at the throat.

What is the difference between the polished steel and the gold-tone 4mm wheat chain?
