The piece
The band is genuine leather, cut slim and flat so it follows the curve of the wrist instead of standing away from it. Leather like this breaks in over time, picking up a softer feel and a natural patina from daily wear.
The centerpiece is a titanium steel shackle, secured by a threaded pin with a knurled head you turn by hand. Steel keepers hold the strap ends in place on either side. Choose the blackened finish for an all-dark look, or the polished steel shackle for contrast against the black leather.
How to wear it
Wear it on the watch wrist for a layered look, or on the bare wrist with a white tee and denim for something simpler. The black version disappears into an all-black outfit; the polished steel shackle picks up a steel watch case or a silver ring. It works for daily wear, dinner, and evenings out, and sits fine under a jacket sleeve.
Choosing your size
Two lengths are offered: 7.5 inches (19 cm) and 8.5 inches (21.5 cm). Wrap a tape measure around your wrist just below the wrist bone; pick 7.5" if you measure around 6.5 to 7 inches and want a close fit, and 8.5" if you measure 7.5 inches or more, or prefer a little movement. If you are buying as a gift and cannot measure, 8.5" is the safer choice for an average to larger adult wrist.

Will it hold up if I wear it every day?
Yes, the titanium steel shackle is made for regular wear and the leather gains character over time. Take it off before swimming, showering, or the gym, since prolonged water contact is hard on leather.
How do I care for it?
Wipe the leather with a dry cloth and let it air dry if it gets damp. Keep it away from perfume, lotion, and long soaks in water.
Is the closure secure?
The pin screws into the shackle by hand and stays put through normal wear. Give it a quick turn now and then to make sure it is still snug.
