A rope chain turns too: its strands are woven in a continuous spiral, so it picks up light from every angle instead of lying flat. Made from stainless steel in silver-tone, gold-tone or black, it comes in five widths from 3mm to 7mm and three lengths, 18, 20 or 24 in, with a lobster clasp.
