The band is genuine leather, two-layer cowhide, braided into two parallel strands. The braid gives it a soft, worn-in feel from the first day and a surface that catches light in small breaks instead of one flat sheen. The whole piece is light, so you barely notice it through a long day.

At the center, a polished shackle link joins the two strands, held by metal collars on either side. A metal clasp closes the bracelet at the top of the wrist.
